BikeTubes to help commuters beat the stress
London Cycling Campaign’s BikeTubes on Wednesday 10 June were a tremendous success, with more planned for Thursday 11 June.
Buoyed by clear skies, over 100 novice and experienced cyclists commuted into work from all corners of the capital with the five LCC-led rides.

The BikeTube website took over 300,000 hits in the days running up to the tube strike, contributing to the estimated threefold increase in cycling traffic during the strike.
Chief executive Koy Thomson said, “We’ll do everything we can to ensure this surge in cycling becomes permanent, including organising more BikeTubes, even when there’s no disruption.”
